The Charter Meeting for the Civic Journalism Professional Society is set for January 24-25, 2003 at Kennesaw State University. The total cost including flight, hotel, car rental and registration, should be somewhere between $350 and $700 for those flying within the US.
Round-trip direct domestic airline prices to Atlanta are at rock bottom right now. Flights from the West Coast, for example, are less than $400. From Boston it's $186.
Rooms at the Spring Hill Suites by Marriott, adjacent to the campus, are $80 a night. Participants will need to make their own room registrations under the block of rooms reserved for the Civic Journalism Charter Meeting at Kennesaw State University.To make a room reservation click here.
